Development of Situational Metaverse Classroom to Enhance the Digital Literacy of Sixth grade Students

Abstract

The purposes of this study were (1) To create and find the effectiveness of the situational metaverse classroom to enhance the digital literacy based on the criterion of 80/80. (2) Try using the situational metaverse classroom. (2.1) To make a comparison of the digital literacy between before and after learning with the situational metaverse classroom. (2.2) To study the satisfaction of students about the situational metaverse classroom. (2.3) To study the opinion of school administrator about the situational metaverse classroom. The sample of the study was 16 sixth grade students in second semester of 2022 of Bannarase School. The sample was selected by purposive selection. The instruments of the research were the situational metaverse classroom, the digital literacy situational survey, the satisfaction survey and the perspective of school administrators survey. The statistics used to analyze data were percentage, average, standard deviation and t-test dependent statistic. The research result was found that (1) the performance criterion of the situational metaverse classroom was 82.19/80.71. (2) the result of the comparison of the digital literacy between before and after learning with the situational metaverse classroom were that the score of the digital literacy after learning was higher than before learning with a significant difference of .01 level. (3) the result of satisfaction of students to the situational metaverse classroom were in highest level. (4) the result of satisfaction of school administrator to the situational metaverse classroom were in highest level.
