Influence of Masculinity to Decision Making in Business Operation: The Case Study of SMEs in Siem Reap, Cambodia

Masculinity is an outstanding culture in several Asian countries including Cambodia. This paper aims to study the degree of Hofstede’s Masculinity dimension of SMEs in Siem Reap and to examine if the Siem Reap SMEs’ Masculinity influence to decision making in business operation. Samples are 12 SMEs owners in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The research uses content analysis to analyze interviewed data. This study found that Masculinity level is low in Siem Reap and Masculinity culture influences to decision making in business operation of Siem Reap SMEs.
