INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP OF PATTANI VOCATIONAL SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study innovative leadership of Pattani vocational administrators. This research was conducted using qualitative research. There were 6 persons who provided information, namely Pattani vocational education administrators. Data were analyzed by content analysis. The results revealed that 1) innovative leadership of the vocational education executives in Pattani Province in terms of vision of change management must clearly define a common vision of change and implement that vision into the strategic plan; 2) to create the innovative organization, the executives did knowledge exchange, understood, promoted, supported, be friendly and funded research; 3) to encourage creativity, the executives gave opportunities for everyone to share new ideas and create field trips to widen their view; 4) for information and communication technology, executives used technology for instruction and research; 5) for teamwork and cooperation, the executives need cooperation plans to promote collaborative work and motivation.
