Abstract

The objectives of this research were to:1.study the opinions of experts in solving problems of database management for health encouragement of the Sports Science Center, Thailand National Sports University. 2. develop information systems for managing health databases by developing information systems for health encouragement of the Sports Science Center, Thailand National Sports University. 3. assess the satisfaction of information systems for managing health databases by developing information systems for health encouragement of the Sports Science Center, Thailand National Sports University.The samples group was 242 persons of personnel, staff of the Sports Science Center, students and members of the Sports Science Center, Thailand National Sports University in Ang Thong Campus. The research instruments consisted of:1.Expert interview form, 2.Health database management information system , 3. Satisfaction questionnaire.  The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The finding showed that;

The finding showed that Experts agree with information technology should be used in database management for health encouragement. The general public can access information on the main page of the information system which included storing information of service users with information systems for convenience, speed, time-saving and space used for data storage. The design and development resulting in an information system for managing health databases which

includes member information, exercise history, fitness class exercise, success of exercise program, physical fitness, operating conditions equipment in the sport science center, time registration, and reporting notifications when the member's expiration date is approaching. Users were satisfied with the design of the user interface ( = 4.41), the difficulty of using the information technology system ( = 4.32), and the security of the information ( = 4.39) and the overall characteristics of the information technology system ( = 4.44), which had the highest overall mean in all aspects.
