CONDITIONS AND PROBLEMS IN REDUCING WORK PROCEDURES IN THE SUB-DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION ORGANIZATION, NAKHONLUANG DISTRICT, PHRANAKHON SI AYUTTHAYA PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to study conditions of reducing work procedures in the Sub-District Administration Organization, Nakhonluang district, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province and 2) to study problems of reducing work procedures in the Sub-District Administration Organization, Nakhonluang district, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province. The population consists of 129 staff members of the Sub-District Administration Organization in Nakhonluang district, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics employed to analyze the data in this study included Frequency, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation.

The results revealed that 1) conditions of work procedure reduction were in a very high level.  Each aspect showed a high level. The mean showed the highest to the lowest, starting from public service management, information technology, proactive service, decentralization of decision, and control, follow up, and supervise the authority;  2) reducing work procedures in the Sub-District Administration Organization consisted of 2.1) the administrators authorized, permitted public services but not following the planned time, 2.2) those who received the authorizations lack written reports on work performance, 2.3) the internet did not work properly during office hours,  2.4) lack of public service evaluation and 2.5) lack of inquiring people pertaining to proactive service needs.
