การดัดแปลงเรื่องเล่าพันท้ายนรสิงห์ในวัฒนธรรมประชานิยม

Abstract

This research aims to study the adaptation of Pantainorasingh narratives in popular culture and analyze the influence of popular culture to the adaptation by collecting data from document, electronic document and, internet. The result of the research has been found that most of Pantainorasingh narratives in new media still keep the theme and plot which showed faithfulness and loyalty. Moreover, sub-plots and themes had also been added namely; the friendship between Pantainorasingh and       Phra Chao Suea and the love between Pantainorasingh and Nuan. For content and characters,         the details of the story, events and characters had been added to fulfill the narratives of Pantainorasigh as to make them complete and reasonable by using the outline from the annals but adapting the details and creating imaginative parts. Furthermore, most of Pantainorasigh narratives in popular culture present the good side of Phra Chao Suea. The influences of popular culture to the adaptation of                   the Pantainorasingh narratives are the influence to the audience, media, business, national policy and contemporary concepts. These influences do not exist separately but are harmonized in the adaptation of a text in order to please the audience,  be up-to-date, make profits and give the taste of entertainment  together with the suitable-for-era ‘essence’ of thought.
