LEADERSHIP CHARACTERISTICS: A CASE STUDY OF A PRESIDENT OF PANNAMJAISATHU

Abstract
This paper aims to explore the leadership characteristics of outstanding volunteers and successful factors providing care for patients of long-term care. The case study sample groups of stakeholders were utilizing the case study. The study tools were conducted with an in-depth semi-structured interviews for the case studies of stakeholders. Thematic analysis was performed using for data analysis. The findings indicated that the leadership characteristics of outstanding volunteers are the key elements that contributing to provide patient care in three primary dimensions: (1) caregiving and giving, (2) interpersonal skills, (3) leadership and exemplary behavior. Moreover, the successful factors emanated from (1) leadership qualities, (2) altruism, and (3) adaptability.
