Policy Development for Promoting Quality-of-Life of Laborers in Thai Film Industry

Abstract
The study aim at policy development to promoting the life quality of laborers in the Thai Film Industry. This qualitative research used an in-depth interviews with 5 policy advocates as well as documentary research for collecting data. The results showed that The government needs to develop strategies to promoting the life quality of laborers in the Thai Film Industry which consists of 4 approaches, which include (1) promoting safety standards for film crews (2) protecting fair working hours for film crews (3) supporting labor unions in the Thai film industry (4) Develop film departments that play a direct role in supervision.
