Being Chinese in novels and short stories by Praphatson Sawikul

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to study the Chinese in novels and short stories by Praphatson Sawikul. By mainly analyzing presentation strategies through the theme Using the concept of literary elements There are 6 data in the study text which are Samphaothong, Manmorasum, Chinamoon, Mammorlasum , Banchaidong and Pandinyai. The results of the study showed that the strategy of presenting Chinese style through the theme of In Prapassorn Sevikul's novels and short stories, there are 4 Chinese things which are 1) themes about life 2) themes about family problems 3) themes about economy 4) themes about politics Dominance Which the strategy of presenting Chineseness through the theme Has demonstrated system of ideas, beliefs, worldview, values and ideologies in society, culture, Chinese and Thai people of Chinese descent Interestingly until now until interestingly.
