A Study about the changing Liannichang’s Images in The Bride with White Hair Swordman Novel to The Bride with White Hair TV Series in 2012

Abstract

 This research aimed to study about the changing of Liannichang’s Images in The Bride with White Hair Swordman Novel which is composed by Liangyusheng to The Bride with White Hair TV Series in 2012 which is produced by Huangweijie. The result of the study showed that have four factors which effects to Liannichang’s Images. 1) Liannichang’s family background reflected to brutal image 2) Character Relationships in the novel and TV Series, The Bride with White Hair Swordman Novel have two main characters, such as Zhuoyihang and Baishidaoren. The Bride with White Hair TV Series in 2012 have three main characters, such as Zhuoyihang, Baishidaoren and Tiefeilong. 3) The situations in the novel and TV Series in 2012. It reflected to other images, such as helpful, sympathetic, grateful, sacrificeable and faithful images. When Huangweijie taked a novel adapt to TV Series, we found that have a changing Liannichang’s Images, such as remain of family background, extend of main characters, reduce some images and adapt situations. Furthermore, these images reflect to five constant virtues of Confucianism （五常）and 4) Liannichang’s Images in the novel and TV Series have a different time period, so Liannichang’s Images have a different.
