The Participatory Management Approach for Enhancing Students Competency Achievement Under the Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

             This research aimed 1) to study the current and desirable conditions ofparticipatory management for enhancing students competency under Buriram Primary Educational Office Area 2 2) to propose a participatory management approach for enhancing students competency under Buriram Primary Educational Office Area 2. It is a mixed method research. The sample used in quantitative study consisted of 302 people and the group of key informants used in the qualitative study consisted of 11 people, consisting of deputy director of Buriram Primary Educational Office Area 2, administrators of schools or deputy director of the school or acting in the position teachers as an administrators of schools and educational personnel Board of Basic Education Institutions and student parents.

The instruments used in the research were a questionnaire about the condition of participatory management for enhancing students competency under Buriram Primary Educational Office Area 2 and a semi-structured interview form about participatory management approaches to enhance learner competency achievement Under the Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, Arithmetic mean, Standard deviation and content analysis. The results showed that The current state of participatory management for enhancing students competency under Buriram Primary Educational Office Area 2, for all aspects, at a high level. (= 4.31). and the results of the interview concluded that school administrators, teachers and educational personnel and stakeholders should be involved in planning and setting goals in participation in decision making aspect, participation in the operation aspect, participation in resource system control and participation in the evaluation, audit, report aspect.
