THE SET OF IDEAS BY AGRICULTURAL GUEST SPEAKERS IN PHRAE PROVINCE

Abstract

This article aimed to analyze the sets of ideas presented in the discourse of agricultural guest speakers in Phrae Province. The data was qualitative research using interviews, a recorder, and video. The data used for analysis included 15 interviews and lectures from 12 agricultural guest speakers in Phrae Province. The data was collected from May to September 2021. The results revealed the four sets of ideas in agricultural discourse that included 1) a set of the agricultural knowledge ideas, 2) a set of the farmers’ ideas, 3) a set of views on agricultural ways of life, and 4) a set of the views on agricultural factors. However, all sets of ideas reflected ideology, community agricultural practices, social practice, and policy of the government sector and their important roles in presenting Agricultural Ideals.
