A Development of a Network Partner Participative Management Model with Using Local Career Learning Resources to Promote Vocational Skills of Wat Pomkaew Municipal School

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) To study basic information for administrative development needs and good practice guidelines for learning management development in order to promote students’ vocational skills, 2) To develop a cooperative management model of network partners using vocational resources in the local areas in order to promote students’ vocational skills, 3) To trial a cooperative management model of network partners using vocational resources in the local areas in order to promote students’ vocational skills, and 4) To estimate and to create lessons learned of network partners using vocational resources in the local areas in order to promote students’ vocational skills. A sample group consisted of 52 teachers and 285 students. In the first semester of the 2024 academic year, the Krejcie and Morgan table was used, followed by simple random sampling. A target group for creating lessons learned consisted of 20 teachers and students. It was obtained through purposive sampling. Research and development methodology were used. The research tools were questionnaires concerning a model approval, questionnaires concerning satisfactions of the test sheets, evaluation forms concerning students’ learning skills, and estimation forms concerning creativity enhancement. The information used for analyzing was percentage, average, standard deviation, T-test value, and content analysis. The research results were as follows.

1. The results of studying the basic information for administrative development needs showed that the learning management and learning experience management for the students of Wat Pomkaew Municipal School (Akaraphong Chanupatham) should be performed throughout the curriculums from nursery to high school levels. This learning management model provided opportunities for students to improve their working abilities to reach business needs. The model helped create more careers and income and was complied with potential of the local communities as well as built academic cooperation with all organizations concerning in the area.


2. The researcher used the PPCCC Model to develop the network partner participative management model by using local career learning resources. in the local areas. PPCCC Model were as follows: 1) Planning : P, 2) Participation of Community : P, 3) Curriculum : C, 4) Constructing : C, and 5) Career skills : C. The evaluation of experts’ opinions on the determination of the model components was found to be at a high level of appropriateness overall.


3. The results of the trial of the learning management model by testing the knowledge and competency of the teachers were as follows. The average of the post-training was higher than the pre-training with statistical significance of .01. The average of learning management writing skills was at a high level. The average of the students’ learning skills was at a high level.


4. The estimation and the lessons learned were as follows. The overall average of the estimation of knowledge and understanding about outside of the classroom activities learning management was of a high level (x̄ =4.21, S.D.=0.95). The overall average of the estimation of creativity enhancement was of a high level (x̄ =4.06, S.D.=0.92). The overall average of the estimation of the students’ career skills was of a high level (x̄ =4.22, S.D.=0.66). The questionnaires about the satisfactions showed that the teachers’ satisfactions were of a high level (x̄ =4.22, S.D.=0.66) and the students’ satisfactions were of a high level (x̄ =4.18, S.D.=0.76).
