A study of Self-Learning Skills and Work Improvement of the Graduate Diploma in Teaching Profession Students at Tapee University

Abstract
This research aimed to study self-learning skills and work improvement of graduate diploma students in the teaching profession at Tapee University. The sample consisted of 29 first-year graduate diploma students in the teaching program in the academic year 2023, selected through cluster random sampling. The research instrument was the self- learning skills and work development assessment, which consisted of 42 items, demonstrating good quality with t-values ranging from 20.45 to 78.07 and a Cronbach’s Alpha reliability coefficient of .92. The statistics used for data analysis included the mean, standard deviation, t-test, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient for reliability. The findings revealed that the graduate diploma students in the teaching profession at Tapee University showed a high level of self-learning skills and work improvement (x̄ = 4.40 and SD = 0.31)
