Abstract

          This study objectives were 1) to analysis job description, and job specification.  2) to guidelines for improvement of the organizational structure of the construction business, XYZ CO., LTD. This study was qualitative research . The researcher used the Interview form as a tool to store data. Key informants include: 1) Entrepreneurs, who are involved in setting corporate policies, and had experience in management from 10 years or more, and 2) personnel who had worked for 5 years or more, totaling 6 people.


          The research had found that 1) scope of duties and responsibilities of each position was unclear, resulting in cross-functional orders, therefore, to reduce the duplication of work duties, by adding the position of Safety Manager for make plans and annual safety budget, carry out fire drills and annual fire evacuation, check device security, organize a safety committee meeting according to the law, prepare various reports, organize activities to promote safety, investigate the employee and those involved in the event of an accident. 2)In terms of Accounting, Finance and Purchasing Manager, the problem was that the work was previously consolidated under one personas a result, it was unable to respond to new emerging projects in a timely manner, therefore, the position of Finance Supervisor, Accounting Supervisor, and Purchasing Supervisor. 3) In terms of Human Resources and Administration Manager, the problem was that the personnel department has only 1 operator, together with the workload responsible. Therefore, the position of HR Supervisor, and Administration Supervisor.
