The Development of Learning Tourism Model from Social Networks Sharing in Cooperation with Storytelling Techniques for the Case Study of Phitsanulok Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to establish and examine the quality of tourism teaching and learning model development from social media sharing and storytelling techniques; and 2) to experiment with a model of tourism teaching and learning from online sharing together with storytelling techniques. The first semester of the academic year 2021 was obtained by means of 20 students from Sungmenchanupatham School. There are 2 phases in this research. The first phase: to establish and examine the quality of tourism teaching and learning model development from social media sharing and storytelling techniques by 7 experts. The second phase: to experiment with a model of tourism teaching and learning from online sharing together with storytelling techniques. The tools and methods used for data collection were the learning management plan. The test measures communication skills and the ability to tell stories through social media. And expert opinion questionnaire by finding the mean, percentage, standard deviation and t-test Dependent.


The results of the research on the elements of tourism teaching and learning model from sharing on social media together with storytelling techniques. A case study of Phitsanulok Province found that there were 3 components: 1) the origin of the teaching style, 2) the teaching process, and 3) the effect that occurred on the learners. The experts were of the opinion that the teaching style was appropriate at a good level (mean=4.44, SD=0.62) and the experimental results of the developed teaching style showed that the students had scores on communication skills and ability to tell stories. Subjects via online social media after school were significantly higher than before at the .01 level.
