บทคัดย่อ
การก้าวสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุ มีความสัมพันธ์กับแนวโน้มการเพิ่มขึ้นของอุบัติการณ์การเกิดโรคหลอดหลอดเลือดสมองตีบหรืออุดตัน ซึ่งเป็นสาเหตุสำคัญของการเสียชีวิตและทุพพลภาพ ต้องใช้ระยะเวลาและทรัพยากรในการดูแลรักษาและฟื้นฟูสุขภาพอย่างมาก การเข้าถึงการรักษาอย่างรวดเร็วด้วยสิทธิ์ฉุกเฉินตามนโยบายรัฐบาล ในโรงพยาบาลที่มีศักยภาพทุกแห่งที่ใกล้ที่สุดทั้งโรงพยาบาลภาครัฐหรือเอกชน สามารถลดอัตราการเสียชีวิตและทุพพลภาพได้ ในกรณีที่ผู้ป่วยเกิดทุพพลภาพหรือพิการตามมา การรับทราบเรื่องสิทธิผู้พิการตามกฎหมาย จะทำให้ผู้ป่วยได้รับการดูแลอย่างต่อเนื่องจากสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐ เพื่อการช่วยเหลือทางการเงินและการดูแลทางการแพทย์อย่างเหมาะสม
