10 Services of the State Railway of Thailand : A Case Study of The Southern route (Bangkok - Hua Hin)

This research is a survey research aimed at studying and comparison of opinions from State Railway of Thailand’ services : A case study of the Southern route (Bangkok - Hua Hin). The assumption of difference users are gender, age, education level, occupation, income and expenses, the level of satisfaction with different aspects of the service. The tool is a questionnaire. Sampling groups are 400 people who use service on the route Bangkok - Hua Hin by table of Taro Yamane. The statistics used to compile the data were frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation statistics, T-Test and One-way ANOVA.
Research of the service is 5 topics: the modernization of the railway station, train station, cleaning Station, cleanliness of the toilets in the station area, cleanliness of trains, cleanliness of toilets in trains satisfaction is moderately. The process offers, hoardings or information about the process and timing of services are moderately satisfied. The service personnel, willingness and availability of service and politely, ability to provide services as answer questions, statement doubt make a suggestion are moderately satisfied. The travel time, suitability of the journey time and punctuality of departure are moderately satisfied. Security safety and security stations when traveling are moderately satisfied. Comparison between the individual of service has found that gender differences. Overall opinions are difference, except safety topics during the trip. Age, average income per month and average cost of different opinions differ. But the different levels of education, there are differing opinions on the cleanliness of the toilets on the train, the train station. The suitability of Time during traveling, they are different satisfaction of overall, except cleanliness of the toilets on the train.
