A Development of the System for Using Audiovisual Equipment in Classroom via Online Multimedia

Abstract

This research aimed to (1) evaluate the satisfaction of lecturers and students with the development of an online multimedia-based audiovisual system for classrooms, and (2) develop an appropriate innovation model for the Faculty of Education, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University. The study employed a survey design with a purposive sample of 100 participants. A five-point Likert scale questionnaire was used as the research instrument, and data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The findings revealed that participants’ overall satisfaction with the system was at a “high” level, particularly in terms of convenience, accuracy, and practical benefits. Users were able to follow the operational procedures correctly, gained a better understanding of the system, and could solve basic problems independently. The developed system therefore served as an effective innovation for classroom management, reducing problem-solving time, minimizing conflicts between users and staff, and enhancing the efficiency of audiovisual equipment.

Moreover, the online multimedia system functioned as a digital manual accessible anytime and anywhere, reducing reliance on staff and ensuring uninterrupted teaching and learning. The results confirmed that the innovation was effective, met user needs, and could be applied to other faculties or institutions.

From a management perspective, the system reduced staff workload, improved equipment efficiency and lifespan, lowered maintenance and procurement costs, and strengthened the institution’s image. In conclusion, the integration of online multimedia into classroom audiovisual management represents an innovation that enhances teaching quality in higher education and has strong potential for further educational innovation development.
