Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the management status of the medium- sized gallery HUATIAN ART CORP; and (2) to analyze the approaches to using technology for digital management and the impact of digital technology in medium-sized galleries.


This research methodology was a qualitative research. The review of the literature  related to the management of medium-sized galleries, the use of digital technology for art exhibition displays, and conducting in-depth interviews with 5 experts: 1 technology expert in museums, 2 museum administrators, 1 art scholar, and 1 artist, to analyze the approaches to using digital technology for managing the medium-sized gallery HUATIAN ART CORP in Guangzhou, The People's Republic of China, based on the content analysis of the interviews.


The research findings findings were found that: (1) The management model of medium- sized galleries is evolving alongside an increasing reliance on digital technology for operational efficiency, visitor accessibility, and visitor engagement.; and (2) The integration of digital technology and artworks impacts visitor interaction, creating an engaging and immersive experience. The management approach of utilizing digital technology in medium-sized galleries will enhance operational efficiency and significantly improve the attractiveness and competitiveness of galleries in the art market.
