Transmedia storytelling strategies management of intangible heritage folk literature in Hunan province, the People’s Republic of China

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to study and analyze the content of Hunan folk culture, cultural heritage in the context of media integration; and (2) to analyze cross-media storytelling, Hunan folk literature and the form of cross-media storytelling. This research is qualitative research. By reviewing the literature on the conservation of intangible cultural heritage. Hunan folk literature Storytelling across media folk culture to analyze data and interviews with 6 folklore experts and storytelling media experts in Hunan Province and content analysis from the interviews.


The results of the research found that (1) Hunan Province has many sources of folklore information. This article researched nine Hunan regional folklore items in the national representative list of intangible cultural heritage and discovered that the geographic area and the content has been categorized and arranged. Divided into data units and information chain Folk literature content data has been managed. (2) Digital display of folk tales using media storytelling according to the storytelling model. Using a form that participates in telling stories. Develop the telling of folk tales to be consistent with today's communication formats.
