Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the current state of promoting 21st-century vocational skills among students, 2) study methods of promoting 21st-century vocational skills among students based on the Four Bases of Success (Iddhipada 4), and 3) propose guidelines for promoting 21st-century vocational skills among students based on the Four Bases of Success (Iddhipada 4). This study employed a mixed-methods research design combining quantitative research using questionnaires administered to the entire research population of 25 people, with data analyzed using statistical methods including percentages, frequencies, means, standard deviations, and qualitative research through interviews with 7 key informants, with data analyzed using content analysis.


The research findings indicate that (1) the overall and all individual aspects of 21st-century vocational skills promotion among students are at a high level, and (2) the methods of promoting vocational skills based on the Four Bases of Success (Iddhipada 4) in schools within the Sri Mahosot Quality Zone of Prachinburi Province integrate the principles of Chanda (desire), Viriya (effort), Citta (mindfulness), and Vimamsa (wisdom) with the PDCA cycle, focusing on community network building, Active learning, local curriculum development, portfolio-based assessment, and the use of technology to support the development of vocational skills and desirable attributes of learners in a practice manner and (3) guidelines for promoting 21st-century vocational skills based on the Four Bases of Success (Iddhipada 4) of schools in the Sri Mahosot quality zone, emphasizing the integration of Buddhist principles in teaching and management to develop learners who are well-rounded with knowledge, skills, and morality, and can also be used as policy recommendations to sustainably improve the quality of educational institutions in other areas.
