Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study ways to improve human resource management in the libraries of Guangxi University. The population is 205 administrators from 10 public university libraries in Guangxi. The research instrument is a 5-level estimation questionnaire. Confidence is at the level of 0.94. Data analysis using percentage, mean, and standard deviation. and content analysis The research results found that The results show that the current situation of human resource management in the libraries of Guangxi University in five areas is at a high level. Consider the results of studies from highest to lowest average: the highest average is human resource planning. Followed by training, recruitment, career development. performance evaluation is the lowest average Guidelines for improving human resource management in the libraries of Guangxi University in 5 areas, consisting of 28 measures, human resource planning, 5 measures, personnel recruitment, 6 measures, training, 6 measures, performance evaluation, 5 measures, career development, 6 measures, results Evaluate the appropriateness and feasibility of the guidelines for improving human resource management in the libraries of Guangxi University at the highest level. By promoting human resource planning, there are 5 measures for human resource management in the libraries of Guangxi University: 1) Evaluating the library's existing human resources, 2) Improving the human resource recruitment and selection mechanism, 3) Strengthening the Librarian training Conduct business training regularly and improve the professional quality and service ability of librarians. 4) Establish a performance evaluation system. Evaluate the performance of librarians regularly; and 5) Design librarian development programs and career paths to encourage and support librarians to participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
