APPLICATION OF SARANIYADHAMMA IN PARITICIPATPON OF THE COMMUNITY OF WATSRIWITHETSANGKHARAM, SAMNAKKHAM SUBDISTRICT SADAO DISTRICT, SONGKHLA PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were to: 1) study the principles of Saranya Dharma in the scriptures; Theravada Buddhism 2) study the participation of the community at Sri Withesangkharam Temple, Samnakham Sub-district, Sadao District, Songkhla Province; Participation in the community of Wat Sri Withet Sangkharam, Samnak Kham Sub-district, Sadao District, Songkhla Province, conducted the research. by using a qualitative research method by in-depth interview and group chat. The results showed that the principles of Saranya Dharma appearing in Theravada Buddhist scriptures The Buddha talks about the Dharma cause to remember each other to be respected to help each other for unity In order to avoid quarreling, it can be summarized into four things: first, think, speak, and act with kindness; secondly, public welfare (equal sharing), thirdly, silamanyata (equal virtue), and fourthly. vision (There are consensus opinions). Participation of Wat Sri Withet Sangkaram Community It is a community where morality is instilled as the center of thought by the family to create love. Respect for each other on the basis of kindness and compassion for each other in the community. Approaches to the application of Saraniya Dharma in community participation that started from social institutions are families that help train them to learn social order. including the transfer of culture to new members who are born, such as learning patterns and practices according to social order, religious institutions serve to help meet the needs of the mind. Strengthen the morale of the members of the society Religion is upheld and used as a guideline in life.
