QUALITY OF WORKING LIFE AFFECTING PERFORMANCE EFFECTIVENESS ON PERSONNEL OF PROVINCIAL TRANSPORT OFFICE IN THE LOWER NORTHEAST PART

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were 1) to study level of performance effectiveness on personnel of provincial transport Department in the lower northeastern region. 2) analyze the quality of work life affecting the operational efficiency of personnel of the Provincial Transport Department in the lower northeastern region 3) to study guideline for increase the effectiveness of the personnel of provincial transport office in the lower northeast part. The research methodology was mixed method. The sample consisted of 238 personnel in provincial transport office in the lower northeast part. The research instruments were questionnaire and depth interview by 24 experts. The statistic used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, One-way ANOVA, Multiple regression analysis and correlation analysis. The study results revealed that 1) the quality of working life affecting the effectiveness of the work performance of the personnel of the Provincial Transport Department. In the lower Northeastern region as a whole, the overall level is at a high level. and the effectiveness of the operation of the provincial transport department in the lower Northeast. The overall picture was at a high level. 2) Quality of working life on personnel of provincial transport office in compensation for working that was sufficient and fair aspect, stability and job advancement aspect and job description that was beneficial to society aspect affecting performance effectiveness on personnel of provincial transport office in the lower northeast part with statistically significant level of .05. 3) There should be support for personnel to progress in the work. and taking into account adequate compensation so that personnel can continue to perform duties that are beneficial to society.
