PROMOTION OF PUBLIC MIND UNDER THE ROYAL VOLUNTEER SPIRIT PROJECT ACCORDING TO THE ROYAL INITIATIVE VOLUNTEER SPIRIT COURSE 904

Abstract

            Raising awareness to help others and the public is a crucial part that is so much in need in Thai society. Solving social problems from a particular person or group is difficult for the problem to be solved, mitigated, or successful. Solving problems requires unity and cooperation from people in society because we are all an important cog in driving society to be better and owning public properties. The Royal Volunteer Project under the Royal Volunteer Program 904 is a project that encourages people in Thai society to have more public minds through courses both short and long term. The project nurtures people in the society to have the public mind, public mind is the heart of developing society into a better society and developing the country in different dimensions. Volunteer cultivation cultivates many virtues, such as sacrifice, kindness, compassion for affecting both fellow human beings and animals, also to the planet. It can also reduce selfishness. The public mind can be caused by voluntary commitment, strong physical strength, also with the mentality that aims to benefit the public. Volunteer projects are projects that help reduce the problems that can arise in society by dividing volunteers into 3 categories: 1) Development Volunteer aims to improve communities and local communities to have a better quality of life 2) Disaster Volunteer aims to monitor and prepare for disasters caused by nature and other causes. 3) Specific Unit Volunteer aims to perform at ceremonies or receptions on various occasions.
