A PARTICIPATIVE MODEL ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LEARNING RESOURCE MANAGEMENT OF BASIC EDUCATION COMMITTEE IN THE SMALL SIZED SECONDARY SCHOOLS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATION SERVICE AREA OFFICE 11

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were to 1) to study the participation and demand for information technology learning resources management 2) to develop a model of participation in learning resources management 3) to experiment with a model of learning resources management participate in learning resource management and 4) to evaluate model of participation in learning resources management. It was a research combines quantitative and qualitative research. The instruments used were interview forms. The key informants for in - depth interviews were the administrators and teachers in charge of the learning resources totally of 12 persons were obtained by selecting specific and quantitative research. The tool used was a questionnaire. The samples used in this research were 28 school administrators and 28 teachers responsible for information technology learning resources and 155 basic school committee. The statistics used for data analysis were statistical (mean) standard deviation (SD). The results of the research were as follows: 1) the condition of participation and the need to manage the learning resources according to opinions of the school administrators found that the participation was at the highest level ( = 4.51 2) The pattern of participation in learning resources management found that from group discussion model of participation in learning resources management was correct and appropriate 3)the results of the experiment were used in the form of participation in the management of the learning resources in terms of the development of educational institutions and of participation was at high level and their opinions towards the implementation of the model of participation was management. The learning resources were at a high level and 4) the evaluation of the model of participation in the management of the learning resources was at a high level.
