THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SERVANT LEADERSHIP AND EFFECTIVENESS OF STUDENT CARE SYSTEM IN SCHOOLS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 12.

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) study servant leadership of educational administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 12, 2) study the effectiveness of student care systems of institutions under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 12, 3) study the relationship between servant leadership and the effectiveness of student care systems under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 12, and 4) construct an equation of forecast for the effectiveness of student care systems under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 12 by using servant leadership as a predictor. The samples in this research were 357 teachers. The research instrument was a rating scale questionnaire. The data was analyzed by using a computer program for frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The statistics for hypothesis testing was Pearson’s correlation coefficient.
The findings were found that
- Servant leadership of educational administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 12 was at a high level both overall and each aspect. Considering each aspect, it was found that commitment to personal development had the highest mean. Moreover, there were awareness, vision, creating a community, and understanding others, respectively.
- The effectiveness of student care systems of institutions under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 12 was at a high level both overall and each aspect. Considering each aspect, encouragement and development of students had the highest mean. Moreover, there were identifying students individually, prevention and resolution, students transfer, and student screening, respectively.
- The relationship between servant leadership and the effectiveness of student care systems of institutions under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 12 was at a moderate level ( r = 0.544 ) with a statistical significance at .01 level.
- The equation of forecast was = 1.775 ( Constant ) + .146
( SA ) - .354 ( SF ) + .146(SE) + .546 ( SBC ) + .093( SCGP )
