THE DEVELOPMENT MODEL OF ENHANCEMENT TO ELECTRIC ENERGY CONSERVATION OF THE SCHOOL IN NONGKHAI PROVINCE.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were as follows: 1) to study in problems of Electrical Energy Conservation of schools in Nong Khai Province, 2) to define the model for Electrical Energy Conservation of schools in Nong Khai Province, and 3) to experiment and evaluate Electrical Energy Conservation Form of schools in Nong Khai Province by the research process for 3 phases as follows: Phase I was to study problems to get suitable and possible Electrical Energy Conservation Form with the research instrument to interview the directors of the Nong khai Provincial Primary Education office Area 1 and 2. There are 12 schools and 12 people for selection, the quantitative populations more 289 schools administrators in Nong Khai province, from the schools the Office in the area under of Nong Khai Primary Education Area No. 1-2. The interview form and the reliability of the questionnaire were 0.97. The data were analyzed by content analysis. Data were analyzed by the computer for program, frequency and percentage for average and standard deviation. Phase 2 was to define the model for Electrical Energy Conservation of schools in Nong Khai Province, the target from the schools under the Office of Primary Education Area and the Office of the Private education 1 and 2 Office, 12 schools of 12 people selected. The instrument used in the research was a model assessment. Data were analyzed by using computer program in statistics for frequency and percentage average and standard deviation. Phase 3 was to experiment and evaluate Electrical Energy Conservation form of schools in Nong Khai Province, Experimental groups included school administrators, teachers, and school personnel. Thirty people from Ban Dong Kham Schools and 30 from Santirak School. The research tool was a model and manual for enhancing electricity conservation of schools in Nong Khai. Data collection and the observation of the experimental behavior, knowledge, understanding, and the monthly electricity price of schools participating in the experiment on the energy conservation for enhancement model of schools in Nong Khai province. The pre-test and post-test, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Paired t-test were employed.


 


          The study concluded as follows:


  1. The study in problems of Electrical Energy Conservation of schools in Nong Khai Province, there were 16 issues of the problem. 1) Behavior has 6 issues, 2) Knowledge has 5 issues, and 3) Technology is applied to 5 issues.

  2. The model for Electrical Energy Conservation of schools in Nong Khai Province were: 1) the principles of the model, 2) to 3 objectives, 3) to 9 development activity. 4) to 5 indicators, and 5) to 3-way evaluation.

  3. The results for the experiment and the evaluation of the energy conservation model of schools in Nong Khai Province showed that the pre-test results were good. After the experiment, it was very good. There were significant different at 0.05 level.
