MODEL DEVELOPMENT OF THE ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION TO ENHANCE THE STUDENT QUALITY IN THE CHARITABLE SCHOOLS OF BUDHIST TEMPLES IN AREAS OF SOUTHERN PROVINCES.

Abstract

The research investigated the model development of the academic administration to enhance the student quality. It also aimed to find out the current state of the model, to establish the model, to examine, and to apply the model of the academic administration model. Nevertheless, enhance the quality of students in the charitable schools of Buddhism temples in the southern province.

          Research qualitative methodology used the in-depth interviewing with representatives of 5 schools 20 person which are high-quality, successful and original. In order to create the elements of the academic administration model that is high-quality and to originate the questionnaires for quantitative methodology to collect data with sample who are selected from the simple random sampling method as 13 schools. Sample comprised of directors, deputy directors, academic chiefs, and heads of the content groups totally as 52 persons. The results would be data for preparing the focus group in examining the quality academic administration model. After that, the model would be tried to use in schools for evaluating and improving the model before bringing it to use.

          The result of research found that

1. The difference as variables of the school director position and the academic practice level. It was different among means of the school performances, the academic leadership, the decentralization to personnel in various levels for flexible in the academic administration.


2. Academic administration model, the researcher presents the handbook of model development of the academic administration to enhance the student quality in the charitable schools of Buddhist temples in areas of southern provinces, they had manual, how to use, details, objectives, measurement and evaluation administration. The scope of academic administration had 5 aspects were 1) academic leadership 2) participation in academic administration 3) developing in academic team, 4) process of academic administration on equitable concept, and 5) scope of academic administration


3. Checking the education model, after using the educational model in Jangwittaya School’s students and evaluated it. The result showed that all assessment items were in criteria of very well and good qualities, while the academic accomplishment publication or the development on quality of the study by teaching with schools, authorities, and other institution were normally. This research suggested to administrators need to stipulated the academic accomplishment publication, the researches and learning development with the other school or institutions. They should support the academic teacher works for enhancing the quality teachers for teaching.

          4. Academic administration model approach, the research found the method of academic administration model by the subject teachers’ seminar and integrated the moral and ethical in teachings. Strategic implementation of any schools has different contexts, so they have to check and improve the methodology continuously.
