The Model of Information Technology Management in The 21st Century of School Administrators Under The Lower Isan Secondary Educational Service Area Offices
Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to develop the information technology management model and a manual for information technology management in the 21st century for school administrators and 2) to evaluate the developed model and manual. A mixed-methods approach was employed. Three school administrators with expertise in information technology were purposively selected and interviewed using a semi-structured interview form. The data were analyzed using content analysis. The focus group discussion was conducted with seven experts, using the focus group discussion record form as the research instrument. Subsequently, five professional experts evaluated the accuracy and propriety of the model and manual, while thirty school administrators assessed their feasibility and utility using a structured assessment form. Data were analyzed using the mean and standard deviation. The findings revealed four main components of information technology management, consisting of twelve subcomponents. The model and manual were evaluated to be highly accurate and propriety, and their feasibility and utility were rated at the highest level.
