Machanism Driving Crisis Management of Thai Government Administration: A Case Study of Covid-19 Pandemic Situation
Abstract
According to the crisis management of Thai government administration in case of the Covid-19 pandemic situation, it can be seen that the government led by Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha has provided two major measures: prevention and outbreak control. This law has been strictly enforced for people to comply with. Furthermore, the measure of remedy has been periodically performed to relieve people and entrepreneurs affected by the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Nevertheless, as per outbreak prevention and control, it was found that the administration of central, regional, and local governments has played an important role in outbreak prevention and control. Regarding the central government administration, the Center for Administrative Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has been established and operated by the committee. The government has assigned roles and duties of each measure for the responsible ministries. In addition, the crucial from regional government administration has been driven through provinces, districts, and villages, including support from local governments in each area on outbreak control of the Covid-19 pandemic.
