Community Development Administration of Sap Yai Sab-District Administrative Organization, Sap Yai District, Chaiyaphum Province

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were: 1) to study community development administration of Sap Yai administrative organization, Sap Yai District, Chaiyaphum Province, 2) to compare the opinions of populace toward the community development administration of Sap Yai administrative organization, Sap Yai District, Chaiyaphum Province and 3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions of the community development administration of Sap Yai administrative organization, Sap Yai District, Chaiyaphum Province.

          This research was a mixed methods. The quantitative research was conducted by studying the samples of 363 respondents which selected by purposive sampling persons who were populace in Sap Yai sub-district area. The sample size derived from the Taro Yamane’s formula. The tool used for data collection was 5 levels rating scale questionnaire at reliability of 0.94. Statistics used to analyze data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One Way Analysis of Variance and Least Significant Different: LSD. The quantitative research was conducted by In-depth interviewing the 9 key informants who were selected by purposive sampling. Data analyzing was used Content Analysis Technique. The research findings were as follows:

           1) The community development administration of Sap Yai administrative organization, Sap Yai District, Chaiyaphum Province in overall was at height level ( =3.51). When considered each aspect found that the life quality development according to philosophy of sufficiency economy aspect, the development of the natural resources and environment management aspect and the conservation of religious cultural traditions and local knowledge were at a height level but for the organization development and government personnel to better management aspect and the promotion and development of democratic and processes of civil society aspect were at a medium level.

           2) The comparison of populace toward the community development administration of Sap Yai administrative organization, Sap Yai District, Chaiyaphum Province separated by personal factors found that the samples who were different of age and income per month were different opinions at 0.05, therefore, accept the hypothesis but for other personal factors were not different, therefore, reject the hypothesis.

         3) The problems and obstacles of the community development administration of Sap Yai administrative organization, Sap Yai District, Chaiyaphum Province fount that the populace lacks the knowledge in way of life according to philosophy of sufficiency economy, lack the preservation of natural resources and the environment appropriately, lack the activities for preservation and promotion of art and culture in community and lack the budget for community development administration. The suggestions were, the related organizations should service the academic about the way of life according to philosophy of sufficiency economy, promote the preservation of preservation of natural resources and environment, provide the activities that were promote the art and culture in community and the government should support the enough budget for the community development administration.
