Background and Aims: Zhejiang celadon, embodying the essence and heritage of Chinese culture, plays a crucial role in preserving the nation's historical and cultural identity. This research aims to explore the integration of Zhejiang celadon with new media art, utilizing it as a form of cultural soft power to innovate and disseminate traditional values in the digital era.
Methodology: The study employs a comprehensive approach, gathering authentic data through literature review and fieldwork. It focuses on examining the historical evolution, artistic features, and aesthetic values of Zhejiang Celadon, alongside the development and application of new media art techniques.
Results: Findings reveal that Zhejiang Celadon is not only significant for its historical depth and cultural richness but also serves as a medium to convey beautiful and poignant stories of China. The integration with new media art has introduced novel perspectives and forms, influencing public perception and understanding of this traditional art form.
Conclusion: The research underscores the potential of combining Zhejiang celadon with new media art as a strategic cultural soft power. This fusion promotes the appreciation and dissemination of celadon and traditional Chinese culture, enhancing its visibility and relevance in contemporary society.
