Proactive Practice on Job Efficiency of Procurement Officers Mahasarakham University

Abstract

Background and Aims: The procurement process in terms of supplies is mainly a supply management problem, from ordering, inspecting, selecting, and purchasing quality supplies at appropriate prices to saving costs according to the organization's objectives. Thus, good proactive parcel management creates good management potential for the organization. This research aims to: (1) study the proactive logistics operations of Maha Sarakham University's logistics officers. (2) To compare the proactive logistics operations of Maha Sarakham University's logistics officers.

Methodology: The research methodology employed quantitative research methods, with a target group of 76 Procurement officers at the university. Data was collected using a 5-level Rating Scale questionnaire. Data analysis included frequency distribution, mean, standard deviation, and T-test.

Results: The research results indicate that: (2) The problems and challenges faced by Procurement officers at Mahasarakham University differ significantly based on their average monthly income, with statistical significance at the .05 level. And (2) Comparing the proactive procurement work of Maha Sarakham University procurement officers classified by gender, overall, there is no significant difference at the .05 level. (3) Problems and obstacles of work and guidelines for proactive parcel operations of parcel officers. The results show that parcel officers should prioritize time management in their work to help them complete assigned tasks on time.

Conclusion: The research found that the proactive procurement performance of staff at Maha Sarakham University, divided by average monthly income, is statistically different and there is no statistical difference. When compared by gender The research results indicate the importance of time management in parcel operations to prevent problems and obstacles that may occur in this field of work.
