Guidelines for Promoting Community Relations of Small-sized Schools Administrators under Prachinburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the current state of the community relations promotion of small-sized school administrators under Prachinburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2; 2) to compare the opinions of school administrators and teachers toward the promotion of community relations of small-sized school administrators under Prachinburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, based on gender, age, educational level, and work experience; and 3) to the guidelines for promoting community relations of small-sized school administrators under Prachinburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The research sample consisted of 192 administrators and teachers selected through simple random sampling, and 5 key administrators for interviews. The research instruments were questionnaires and interview forms, with content validity ranging from 0.67 to 1.00, and the reliability coefficient of 0.91. The data were analysis using percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, LSD, and content analysis.
The research results found that 1) the current state of community relations promotion by small-sized schools administrators is, overall, at the highest level. The aspects with the highest average scores were community participation and resource support, network building and school committees, and safety and health management. This is followed by participatory development in education management, communication and public relations, and participation in community activities, respectively. 2)The comparison of the opinions of administrators and teachers, found that age, educational level, and work experience, revealed statistically significant differences at the .01 level. However, administrators and teachers of different genders did not show significant differences in their opinions, both overall and in specific aspects. 3) The guidelines for the community relations promotion of small-sized school administrators found on that it should be based on the principle of multi-stakeholder participation. This involved building networks and collaborations with school boards, communities, and relevant agencies to collectively develop educational management. This also included promoting participation in various activities, supporting resources with transparency, ensuring student safety and health, and providing comprehensive and clear public relations, in order to foster trust and sustainable positive relations between the schools and the communities.
