A New Management Style for an Encouragement of Learning Management Potentials by Using a Community - Based Method According to BCG Model in order to Increase Learning Skills of the Students of Tessaban 2 Wat Prasong School (Sutivites Uppatum)

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) study basic information and needs for developing teaching and learning arrangements 2) develop a management model 3) try it out 4) evaluate results and extract lessons. New management model to promote potential in learning management using community-based method according to the new economic concept to enhance student learning. The sample group consisted of 25 teachers and 103 students and the target group for lesson transcripts consisted of 35 teachers and students.  The tools used in the research were questionnaire, tests, and assessments.  Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, t-test and content analysis.

The results showed that 1) educational institution administration focused on adopting new economic concepts to apply in teaching and learning to promote economical use of resources, and to enhance students' learning skills emphasis on learning from real experiences. 2) the results of the development of a new management model to promote the potential in learning management. Using community-based method according to the new economic concept to enhance student learning, were to use of the KCIA model consisting of (1) planning and developing knowledge (2) providing community as a basis (3) taking action (4) expanding results. 3) Model trial by testing teachers' knowledge and abilities, was found that after training, teachers had higher average scores than before at a statistically significant difference at the .01 level.  And evaluation of learning plan writing skills was at a high level. 4) Evaluation of new management models to promote learning management potential using community-based method according to the new economic concept to enhance student learning, by average, it was at a high level.
