Information Technology Skills for Personnel Demand by The Entrepreneurs in Industrial Estate and Industrial Enterprises Zone, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

This research aimed to study information technology skills for personnel demand by the entrepreneurs in industrial estate and industrial enterprises zone, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province and to study the relationship between general information and information technology skills for personnel demand by the entrepreneurs in industrial estate and industrial enterprises zone, Phranakhon Si Ayutthay aprovince. Questionnaire asking 82 companies was used as a tool for data collection. Descriptive statistics used to analyze data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.

The results showed that: the computer is maintenance skill the most important skill, followed by the coordination skills among information technology personnel in various departments in order to control, inspect and analyze problems in computer and information technology. It also found that the location, size and nationality of the establishment are associated with the information technology skills needed for personnel according to the needs of the industrial estates and industrial zones. Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province is statistically significant at .05.
