การศึกษาระดับความสำคัญของปัจจัยต่อการตัดสินใจของผู้ปกครอง ในการส่งบุตรเข้าศึกษาต่อระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย โรงเรียนสมเด็จพิทยาคม จังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์

Abstract

     การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาปัจจัยต่อการตัดสินใจของผู้ปกครองในการส่งบุตรเข้าศึกษาต่อระดับมัธยมศึกษา ตอนปลาย โรงเรียนสมเด็จพิทยาคม จังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ และ 2) ศึกษาข้อเสนอแนะทั่วไปในการพัฒนาโรงเรียนไปทิศทางที่พึงประสงค์ ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ ผู้ปกครองนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ประจำปีการศึกษา 2555 จำนวน 414 คน เครื่องมือ ที่ใช้ในการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ เป็นแบบสอบถามมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า (Rating Scale) มี 5 ระดับ โดยได้ค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.72 การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยวิธีหาความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย (μ) และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (σ) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) มีปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อ การตัดสินใจของผู้ปกครองในการส่งบุตรเข้าศึกษาต่อระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายหลายปัจจัย ซึ่งโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เรียงลำดับ ค่าเฉลี่ยแต่ละด้านจากมากไปหาน้อยได้ดังนี้ คือ ด้านวิชาการและชื่อเสียงของโรงเรียน ด้านกิจการนักเรียน ด้านการจัดการและ การบริการ ด้านการประชาสัมพันธ์โรงเรียน และด้านอาคารสถานที่และสิ่งแวดล้อมโรงเรียน ตามลำดับ 2) ข้อเสนอแนะทั่วไปใน การพัฒนาโรงเรียนไปทิศทางที่พึงประสงค์ พบว่า 2.1) โรงเรียนควรให้ความเอาใจใส่ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนเพื่อมุ่งพัฒนาผล การเรียน และควรจัดการเรียนการสอนด้วยสื่อเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัย 2.2) โรงเรียนควรรณรงค์ให้ทุกฝ่ายที่เกี่ยวข้องช่วยกันรักษาคุณภาพ และชื่อเสียงที่ดีของโรงเรียน และควรจัดค่ายทางวิชาการเพื่อให้นักเรียนมีความพร้อมในการสอบเข้าเรียน 2.3) โรงเรียนควรมี การปรับปรุงพัฒนาอาคารสถานที่ให้เหมาะสมและเพียงพอต่อการจัดการเรียนการสอน และควรจัดสถานที่จอดรถของผู้ปกครอง นักเรียนที่เข้ามาติดต่อกับโรงเรียน มีเครื่องหมายจราจรบ่งบอก 2.4) โรงเรียนควรเพิ่มความเข้มงวดกวดขันนักเรียนด้านความประพฤติ กิริยามารยาท และปฏิบัติตนอยู่ในกรอบที่ดี และ 2.5) โรงเรียนควรมีการประชาสัมพันธ์ข่าวสารของโรงเรียนอย่างถูกต้องเป็นปัจจุบัน และควรมีการประชาสัมพันธ์โรงเรียนในรูปแบบต่างๆ อย่างต่อเนื่อง

     The objectives of this study were 1) to investigate factors crucial to guardians’ decision to enroll their child for study at upper secondary level of education in Somdet Pitthayakhom School, Kalasin province and 2) to examine general suggestions on school development in the desirable direction. The population used was 414 guardians of Matthayom Suksa 4 students in academic year 2012. The instrument used was a five-rating scale questionnaire with a reliability value of 0.72. The collected data were analyzed through frequency, percentage, mean (μ) and standard deviation (σ). The results of this study revealed the following. 1) The overall factor crucial to guardians’ decision to enroll their child for study at upper secondary level of education in Somdet Pitthayakhom School, Kalasin provice was at the high level. The mean scores by rankings in order from higher to lower respectively were the following respects: academic and school reputation respect, student affairs respect, management and service respect, public relations respect, and school buildings, places and environment respect. 2) According to general suggestions on school development in the desirable direction, it was found that: 2.1) the school should pay an attention to instructional management for aiming at developing learning outcome, and should manage instruction using modern media; 2.2) the school should campaign for contribution of helps in maintaining school’s good quality and reputation from all groups of people concerned, and an academic camp should be arranged for training students to be ready for further study entrance examination; 2.3) the school should improve buildings and places to be suitable and sufficient for instructional management and the parking area with traffic signs for students’ guardian who contacts the school should be available; 2.4) the school should be stricter with students concerning their behavior, conduct and manners within the good confines; and 2.5) the school should exercise public relations about information of school correctly and to date and in different forms regularly.
