Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims to design a mobile theatre for the Lakorn Chatri Teng Tuk and assess the satisfaction of the Chatri Teng Tuk group toward the design of the Chatri Teng Tuk mobile theatre. The data was collected from document reviews and field trip data using observation, interviews, and a questionnaire. The three groups of target were purposive random sampling consisting of the experts in staging the Chatri Teng Tuk drama, the experts in design, and the users of the Chatri Teng Tuk group, namely Jakkrawanmongkonsin Group, Nonthaburi Province. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results found that: The design of the mobile theatre for Lakorn Chatri Teng Tuk was the installation and decoration in the containers, which used composite material. The area was divided into 5 parts, including the actor stage, musician stage, scene, dressing room, and audience seats. The installation used containers; the scene uses an LED screen that can change the scene layouts; and the exterior is decorated with the pattern of costumes from the Chatri Teng Tuk drama. The equipment used acrylic instead of glass in the dressing area for ease of transportation. The assessment results from the design experts found that the overall satisfaction score was very satisfied, with an overall mean of 4.45 (S.D. = 0.62). 2) The overall satisfaction assessment of the Chatri Teng Tuk theatre group was at a very satisfied level with an average score of 4.41 (S.D. = 0.56), which means the mobile theatre was designed to be convenient for the installation and can convert into a display in other formats.
