Developing the Design Writing of a Lesson Plan in Micro-teaching to Prepare Pre-service Science Teachers under Unfamiliar Circumstances

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to develop a lesson plan design for micro-teaching to prepare pre-service science teachers under unfamiliar circumstances, to study the ability to use information technology media for a lesson plan writing design, and to study the self-confidence in a lesson plan writing design to prepare students for science teachers under unfamiliar situations. The target group was 29 fourth-year general science students from the Faculty of Science, using purposive selection. The students enrolled in the course of learning management and general science class management 1 in semester 1, academic year 2020. Research tools consisted of 1) instructional activity design to development a lesson plan for preparation of science teacher students in unfamiliar situations; 2) an assessment form for using information technology media for a lesson plan writing design, and 3) a self-confidence questionnaire. The quantitative data were analyzed the mean and standard deviation, and the qualitative data was analyzed using content analysis. The findings were as follows: 1) for micro-teaching to prepare pre-service science teachers under unfamiliar circumstances was developed using the ADDIE model, which consists of the following steps: 1) analysis; 2) design a lesson plan of learners to complete all 3 aspects: cognitive, psychomotor, and affective; 3) development; 4) implementation; and (5) evaluation. 2) The overall ability to use information technology media for a lesson plan writing design was at a high level, with an overall mean of 4.41 and a 0.54 standard deviation. And 3) the overall self-confidence in a lesson plan writing design was at a high level, with an overall mean of 4.04 and a 0.81 standard deviation of 0.81
