Effectiveness of Value Chain Costs and Achievement of Organizational Goals: An Empirical Test of Companies Receiving Sustainability Awards on The Stock Exchange

Abstract
This research aimed to examine the impact of value chain costs effectiveness on resource utilization, productivity increasing and organizational goal achievement, assess the effects of resource utilization efficiency on productivity increasing, and examine the effect of resource utilization efficiency and productivity increasing toward achievement of organizational goals. The population was 61 award-winning companies in the Thailand stock market between 2015 to 2021. A questionnaire was used as a research tool to collect data, and there are 32 companies from executives in accounting section responded the questionnaire. The findings revealed that the effectiveness of value chain costs influenced the resource utilization efficiency, productivity increasing and organizational goal achievement, especially productivity increasing highly influenced organizational goal achievement. Therefore, executives should support the operational processes to get products or services quality that meet customer demands through cost reduction, minimizing all from of losing, utilizing suitable technology, and utilizing limited resources efficiently.
