The Effect of Learning Promotion Entitled Breastfeeding for Husband Using Learning Environment based on Social Media Platforms

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to design and develop learning environment based on social media platforms for promoting learning about breastfeeding of the target group, to compare the learning outcomes of the target group before and after learning through learning environment based on social media platforms for promoting learning about breastfeeding, and to study the opinions of target group that learned through learning environment based on social media platforms for promoting learning about breastfeeding of the target group amount to 20 participants which was selected based on inclusive criteria. This research used one-group pretest-posttest design. The data was collected by 1) the general information questionnaire, 2) the breastfeeding knowledge test, and 3) the opinion survey form on learning environment using social media platforms. The data analysis includes 1) quantitative data analysis consisted of target group learning outcomes using mean and t-test, 2) qualitative data analysis consisted of the opinions of the target using by interpreting the conclusion from the questionnaire.The findings revealed that the designing and developing the learning environment based on social media platforms that promote learning entitled breastfeeding for husband consisted of four important elements as follows 1) problem scenario, 2) learning resources, 3) tools, and 4) scaffolding. The learning outcome of the target group post-study was significantly higher than pre-study at the .01 level. The opinion of the target group towards learning environment based on social media platform to promote breastfeeding learning revealed that the content, media features, and learning environment designing that was appropriate, convenient, and easy to use, with interesting and engaging presentation pattern.
