- A Structural Equation Model of Administrator Skills in New Normal Affecting the Effectiveness of Primary School

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the level of administrator skills in new normal affecting the effectiveness of primary school, as well as develop and examine the consistent of the developed structural equation model of administrator skills in new normal affecting the effectiveness of primary school with the empirical data, and study the effect of the structural equation model of administrator skills in new normal affecting the effectiveness of primary school. The research design was causal research. The samples were 240 schools derived by multi-stage sampling method. The research instrument was a 5-rating scale questionnaire of administrator skills in new normal and the school effectiveness. The structural equation model was created and analyzed by descriptive statistical including mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient, and structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings showed that the overall administrator skills in new normal was at the high level. The highest average was flexibility and adaptability skill which was at a high level. Moreover, the school effectiveness was at the high level. The highest average was community participation. The structural equation model of administrator skills in new normal affecting the effectiveness of primary school was consistent with the empirical data. The administrator skills in new normal positively influenced on the primary school effectiveness at 0.82 which was at the .01 significantly. The variable of administrator skills in new normal in the model could explain the variances of the school effectiveness at 67.24 percent.
