A Study of the Readiness, Learning Behavior and Satisfaction of High School Students of Ongkarak Demonstration School Srinakharinwirot University towards Online Learning Management during Covid-19 Outbreak

Abstract

The objectives of this research aimed to study the readiness, learning behavior, students’ satisfaction, and guidelines for developing online learning management during Covid-19 outbreak to be appropriated to the context of the school effectively. The sample consisted of 467 students studying in Matthayomsuksa 1-6 of semester 1/2021 from Ongkarak Demonstration School Srinakharinwirot University who voluntarily provided the information and responded to the online questionnaire. The research instruments were online learning tools availability questionnaire, online learning behavior assessment form, semi-structure interview form, and students’ satisfaction questionnaire. The data collection period was June-July 2021. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, percentage and qualitative content analysis. The results were revealed that: 1) the students had the highest level of availability of the tools for online learning, with a good level of online learning behavior, and the students’ satisfaction was at a high level. Due to the school had a systematic design and planning of online learning management consisting of 4 steps: survey and analysis, preparation and plan, Implementation and monitor, and evaluation and reflection; and 2) from the research results found that the components used as effective guidelines for developing an online learning management model for high school students of Ongkarak Demonstration School Srinakharinwirot University consisted of the organizing management, learning activities, evaluation method, and the use of technology media.
