Information of Students-focused: The Development for Educational Quality Criteria

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to study: Information for students-focused to Educational Quality Criteria, needs of students for instruction, management and educational environment, student relationships’ formation and student engagements to course and student satisfaction and dissatisfaction with instruction management and the educational environment. The samplings of this study were 275 bachelor’s degrees and graduate students of Mahidol University in the academic year 2017. The research instruments were unstructured interviewed and 5-rating scale questionnaires. The instrument was validated to determine the validity values using indexes of the item-Index of the Item Objective Congruence: IOC by considering the conformity index can be asked a question greater than 0.6 and the reliability coefficient alpha coefficient was .961. The statistics analyzing the data were arithmetic mean, standard deviation, independent sample t-test, analysis of Variance: ANOVA.The findings of this research were as follows: 1) Information for Students-focused to Educational Quality Criteria of Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in Mahidol University, which are included instruction, management are content, courses in the curriculum, student assessment, tuition fee, welfare, student reward. Furthermore, the educational environments are information systems, communication systems, classrooms, library, the faculty environment, the relationship between academic and support staff and reputation. 2) Students’ Needs for instruction, management and the educational environment are indicated by statistical result of a high level of satisfaction. 3) Building student relationships and student engagements to the course were presented by statistical results of a high level of satisfaction. 4) Student satisfaction for instruction, management and the educational environment were supported by statistical results of a high level of satisfaction whereas student dissatisfaction was explained bya higher level of dissatisfaction in the learning supports.
