Cost Management Approach of Giant Freshwater Shrimp Farming in the soil pond For Shrimp Farmers, Huaymuang Subdistrict, Kampaengsaen District Nakornpathom Province

Abstract
The objectives of this research are to study general cost and return on investment of giant freshwater shrimp farming. For comparative analysis of cost and return on investment for shrimp farming in the soil pond from 3 month and 6 month of shrimp species and to search a direction to reduce the cost of giant freshwater prawn farming in the soil pond, the population and sample were shrimp farmers in Huay Muang sub-district, tools for using open-ended interview questions, data collected by observation methods and in-depth interviews with shrimp farmers and analyze data with Microsoft Excel. The result of research shows that the area must have a convenient water source square pond, depth 1.50 meters, initial investment 557,120 baht per rai, The fixed cost is 11,580 baht per year, the variable cost per rai per cycle shows that the 3-month shrimp farming has the highest food cost (56.70%) followed by cost of shrimp breeding as 27.13% and the pay back period. 2 years 10 months, The net present value for 5-years was 347,150.70 baht, 31.19% of internal rate of return and 6 month of shrimp shrimp breeding as 48.18%, followed by the food cost of 35.75%, The pay back period 1 year 9
