Key Success Factors of International Shipping Company: The Empirical Study in Nong Khai, Nakhon-Phanom, and Mukdahan

Abstract

       This research aims to study the key success factors of the international shipping companies. The researcher selects Nongkhai, Nakhon Phanom and Mukdahan as research settings for conducting data observation withsurvey and documentary research. Data analysis applies a descriptive statistics. Research findings as observed in the three provinces illustrates that the entrepreneurs  and stakeholders related to industry were mostly males with the age over 40 years-old, and holding bachelor’s degree in education. Whereas the customers were mostly females, with the age of 30 to 40 years old, holding a bachelor’s degree in education as well. Moreover, the result shows that the key success factors of the shipping company consisting of originality and ambition to succeed 93.33%, a vision seeing external change as an opportunity 91.11%. Such factors are the key force of running the business in the competitive industry.
