Abstract

 This research aims to study the operation of the Education Quality Assurance at basic education in Small – sized school under the Secondary Educational Services Area Office 18, Rayong Province. It is a descriptive research which was collected data by using the operation of the Education Quality Assurance operation system Likert’s scale assessment questionnaire. The respondents were school director and teachers with total of 83 respondents. The research tool was a set of 5 rating scale questionnaires upon the degree of success in internal quality assurance and the index of expectation had confidence level were between .97 to .98 respectively. Data analyzed with instant software for analyzing statistics are mean (X), standard deviation (SD.), Modified priorities needs index (PNImodified), percentage (%) and cumulative percentage (% com) for data analysis.


            The result showed that


  1. The degree of success in internal quality assurance was in “The medium level” which wanted for improvement in order of the students’ quality, the school management as administrators, the management process of student-centered learning and an effective internal quality assurance operation system.

  2. The index of expectation was in “The very high level” which wanted for development in order of the students’ quality, the management process of student-centered learning, the effective internal quality assurance operation system and the management of school administrators.

  3. The operation of the Education Quality Assurance at basic education in small – sized school had development needs assessment (DNA.) was “Need for development” in order of the students’ quality, the school management as administrators, the management process of student-centered learning and an effective internal quality assurance operation system.

  1. The suggestion for development in the operation of the Education Quality Assurance at basic education in small – sized school; the students’ quality was suggested that the teacher should develop students in literacy skills and critical thinking skills to be effective. In addition, the number of project should be increased in order to support working after the graduation and further education.; the school management as administrators was suggested that the management of school administrator agenda are to provide training support, to enhance the teacher’s skills in their field, and to manage and plan the system systematically; the management process of student-centered learning was suggested that the teacher should be has the assessment and evaluation of students accurately. The students will perform the activities in the class by themselves; an effective internal quality assurance operation system was suggested that the school management should be planning strategies in implementing the school system to preserve and keep the data at school secured.
