The Result of Using Media Infographic Animation in the Course of ‘Seminar in Computers for Education’ Based on the Information Technology Competency Promoting Activities (SSPC)

Abstract
This research aimed 1) to find out the efficacy rate of information technology competency promoting model for undergraduate students at the North-East Rajabhat University group by using Meguigans ratio, and 2) to find out the effectiveness index of the activity. The sample of this research included 1 classroom 36 third year Public Administration major students at Rajabhat Kalasin University for quasi-experimental research, selected by purposive sampling. The research tools were: 1) a handbook of promoting information technology competencies, 2) a knowledge test, 3) a skill test and 4) a questionnaire probing the trainee satisfaction with the training. The statistics used in data analysis were: Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, the efficiency of the model by using Meguigans ratio and t-test (Dependent Samples). The research results are as follows:
- The model had its efficiency more than 1.00. It showed that this model was sufficient to be used effectively to this course.
- The efficacy of the activity of information technology competency promoting model can be concluded as follows:
2.1 In the aspect of knowledge, their posttest scores proved higher than the pre-test one with statistical significance level at .05.
2.2 In the aspect of skills, the students passed the practice test after promoting at 91.66 percentage and passed their practice criteria from worksheet during promoting at 94.44 which higher than the assigned criteria (80 percentage).
2.3 The students’ satisfaction with the training course was overall at the high level ( = 4.34, S.D. = 0.68).
